Rise On Self Empowerment
This retreat is for 7th - 12th grade girls and their mothers or female guardians. Troop #3871 has partnered with the San Diego Suicide Prevention Council, Up2SD.org, the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program, Girls on Target, ArtBeat and The Princess Project to bring awareness to the importance of self-care, self-love as it relates to mental and emotional health as they work toward their Silver Award.
This is a weekend you will not want to miss. Reservations are limited to 19 couples or 38 participants. We do offer a sibling discount but feel it will be more impactful to have 1:1 ratio for the weekend retreat.
Through this retreat, we hope to empower young women and their mothers that their emotional and mental health should be a priority. Self-care is not Self-ish,
The weekend will be filled with powerful activites, such as:
Yoga
Communication Building
QPR Training (ages 16 and older)
Self-Care Techniques
Guided Art on Canvas
Prom Dress Donation Drive
