Take your leader training
FirstComplete the “Getting Started with Your Troop” online training before your first meeting. You should have already received a link to this training via email, and you can sign in at sdgirlscouts.litmos.com   Contact Minhhieu Phamvu at mphamvu@sdgirlscouts.org if you did not receive this email.  She is your Council Troop Support Specialist.  Schedule your first troop meeting to get to know everyone and collect necessary information and paperwork from each family:   Parent/Guardian Info Sheet,    Girl Health Record,    Adult Health History.  Attend an in-person “Introduction to Girl Scout Program” class to learn all about the Girl Scout program.  Class signup is available in your Girl Scout account under "Activities."

Take a First Aid/CPR class or ask another troop helper to get trained.  One First Aid trained adult must be present at all Girl Scout meetings and outings.  We offer  First Aid/CPR classes at all three of our Girl Scout locations throughout the year.

Highly recommended to take Diving into Daisies / Blasting into Brownies / Just for Juniors which will introduce you to the essentials of your troop level.
